Description
The InfaSecure Safe Grip Clamp is a unique little clip which clamps over the vehicle sash belt (the part that normally goes across your body and over your shoulder), right up next to the seat belt buckle. It’s designed to stop the seat belt from feeding through the buckle (it can help achieve a tighter, more solid installation of your child's car seat), and is a taxi-friendly alternative to a premium or standard locking clip.
The InfaSecure Safe Grip Clamp can be used in the place of a locking clip (also known as a gated buckle) to lock the lap-portion of the vehicle seat belt, so that you can achieve a tighter, more solid installation of your child's car seat. The SafeGrip works differently from regular locking clips, in that it only clips onto the shoulder belt section of the seat belt (regular locking clips hold the lap and shoulder portions together). This means that: (1) it can be installed without having to unbuckle the vehicle seat belt, making it much quicker for taxi installations, and (2) it can be used to lock the seat belt when using a European belt-routing method to install a car seat (regular locking clips only allow the American belt-routing method).
