Grown in the pristine waters of Pohnpei Island Micronesia, known as the Emerald Isle of the Pacific, this Grade A1 Pohnpei Sponge is the only one of its kind in the world. Pohnpei Island’s crystal clear, coral fringed waters support a small community of farmers who farm these unique sponges by hand. The Sponge in this box has been hand-grown for two to three years before being carefully harvested, and cleansed without the use of harsh chemicals or dyes.

A luxurious bathing accessory which is excellent at cleaning and massaging even the most sensitive of skins, the Pohnpei Sponge leaves skin gently cleansed and silky smooth. Especially treasured by the Pohnpei Islanders for bathing the skins of newborn infants, this Sponge will last many years of use if well cared for.

This sponge comes beautifully packaged in a 100% recycled paper box using 100% soy-based ink.

Excellent as a luxurious face and body sponge for all skin-types, including sensitive and delicate skins such as newborn skin or skin affected by eczema, hives, bites or contact dermatitis.

Directions

Soak sponge gently in water to soften before use. After cleansing, rinse sponge well in clean water before storing in a dry place. For extra cleansing, soak sponge for one hour in a mixture of two tablespoons of baking soda in one litre of water before rinsing and storing.

All oils used by Four Cow Farm are premium extra-virgin cold-pressed quality and all preservatives and emulsifiers used are premium food-grade.

Our skincare range is proudly Australian made and owned and lovingly handcrafted from scratch on our family farm on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We do not use external contract manufacturers or equipment that is used for anything but our skincare products.
